Mead Wildlife Area

Mead Wildlife Area

The Mead Wildlife area is near Milladore in Central WI by the Little Eau Pleine River. It is a 33,000 acre area of wetlands that includes a bike trail and many more miles of hiking trails. This is a beautiful place full of wildlife. During my hiking and painting, I have seen muscrat, beaver, deer, a weasel, sandhill cranes, and the tracks of many other interesting birds and animals.
